PSR J0337+1715: pulsar timing reveals all
Anne Archibald
ASTRON - Netherlands Institute for Astronomy
The system PSR J0337+1715 is unique: it is a hierarchical triple containing
a millisecond pulsar and two white dwarfs. The inner orbital period
is 1.6 days, and the outer is 327 days. Pulsar timing is an even more
powerful tool than usual in this system, and I will discuss how we can
determine almost all system parameters and even carry out a sensitive
test of Einstein's Strong Equivalence Principle.
