Research field : Galaxy formation and evolution
Description of the research project: Nathalie Ouellette's research is on the formation and evolution of galaxies, particularly those found in groups and clusters such as the Virgo Cluster. Nathalie Ouellette is a co-investigator on the SHIVir survey which aims to better our understanding of the cluster's scaling relations and parameter distributions via both photometric and spectroscopic observations.
Nathalie Ouellette is also involved in a number of education and public outreach projects. She is part of the Canadian James Webb Space Telescope team and is working on its EPO portfolio in collaboration with the Canadian Space Agency.
