Two scholarships for the FQRNT international internships for the CRAQ
Jean-Francois Cossette (CRAQ and UdeM) and Jean-Francois Robitaille (CRAQ and ULaval) are the recipients of the international internship scholarship program from the Fonds Quebecois de Recherche sur la Nature et les Technologies (FQRNT)
With this scholarship, Jean-Francois Cossette will collaborate with the National Center for Atmospheric Research of the United States, and will work on the development of a 3D numerical model of the convective layer of the Sun (model EULAG). Jean-Francois Robitaille will go to the Institut d'Astrophysique Spatiale de Paris to have access to the data from the space telescope Planck and identify the mechanisms involved in the formation in molecular clouds, which are favoured sites for the formation of stars.
