Targeted Searches for FRBs Using the EVN
University of Amsterdam
I will discuss our targeted fast radio burst (FRB) search approach using the European VLBI Network (EVN) to observe FRB-like environments. In particular, I will present results from our observation of the decaying radio transient J1419+3940, which shares a number of similar properties to the environment of the first repeating fast radio burst, FRB 121102. I addition, I will discuss the work we are conducting on follow-up of CHIME repeating FRBs.
